Christopher Hamilton, Au.D.

Chris Hamilton, Au. D.“Our sense of hearing is an amazing ability. It is always ‘on’ and facilitates some of the most meaningful experiences in our lives. I do what I do for one reason – to help people hear the best that they possibly can.
“I have vivid memories of my father building a small recording studio from scratch at our home in the mountains of North Carolina, gradually expanding and evolving into a full-fledged professional studio. I was often immersed in sound (quite literally) which helped shape a sonic perspective on the world around me. Thanks to my mother, my first jobs were working with children and most of my future work revolved around helping opportunities.
“Discovering Audiology as my profession was a relief – it felt like I had truly found the right path and a chance to do something I was meant to do. Being able to return to the mountains of North Carolina, raise a beautiful family, and help bring sounds to life for my patients has been an opportunity I am grateful for on a daily basis.”

“Expanding the audible world for my patients is deeply gratifying. The best reward is hearing a patient describe new sounds and new life experiences – hearing their grandchildren or birds that have long been quiet – and seeing a true change in the quality of their life.”
